Twins Coming Home!

Official word has come about when the Twins will be coming home. It was announced on the Crown Prince Couple official web site that the Twins and Mother will be coming home tomorrow ( Friday) in the late afternoon. Updates on Twins!!

Well the News media is camped out in front of Righospitalet Hospital. Waiting word as to when the Crown Princess and Twins will be going home. The Twins have had many visitors since they were born, Friends and Family. Here is a video of the Crown Prince press conference shortly after the twins were born. to tide you over. The Twins have arrived!!

A clearly delighted Crown Prince Frederik meet the media on Saturday, January 8th. and gave them the news they had been waiting for. That his Wife, Crown Princess Mary given birth to twins a baby boy and girl (born Jan. 8th). Mother and Baby's are fine and healthy. Later on Saturday, Mary's father was on hand to congratulate the Crown Prince Couple and meet the twins. Fred's parents were there too. Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik. The Danish Government sent the new Prince and Princess teddy bears!! The Twins and Mummy are expected to be going home sometime this coming week.  Congrats to the Crown Prince Family!!!

New Years!!

Yesterday members of the Danish Royal Family ( including Crown Prince Frederik) attended a News Years reception at  Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen. Crown Princess Mary was absent as she is due with twins at any time.

Here are a few updates!!

The Crown Prince Family is on the front Cover of German's Vogue this month.The Crown Prince Family has moved into their newly renovated home,  Frederik VIII palace in the Amalienborg complex, Copenhagen. Crown Princess Mary is due any day now with twins will most likely skip the annual New Years celebrations. Above are some of my favorite photos from the photo shoot.

(above )In Most resent news on December 11th the Crown Prince Family attended a Ballet "The Tivoli Dream" in Cophenhagen. Along with the Queen, don't know if Prince Henrik was there. The Queen designed the costumes and set for this play. Video

The Crown Prince and Princess under took a two day visit to Northern Germany. On Sept. 27 and 28th! The Crown Prince Couple enjoyed a tour of Castle Schwerin. They also visited the market in Stralsund. Crown Princess Mary also visited a Children's hospital. See Pictures from the their trip and see articles from different sources click on links below!!

Fred and Mary Officallly get new home!!

On the Twenty First of September in a Welcoming home ceremony for the Crown Prince Family. The Crown Prince & Crown Princess officially received the keys to their new home from the Finance Minster Claus Hjort Frederiksen . The palace of Frederik VIII is to be their new home, which is part of the Amalienborg complex in Copenhagen. The Crown Prince Couple's standard was flown above the building symbolizing that the Crown Prince Family was in Residents.The last people to call Frederik VII  Palace home where the Crown Princes Grandparents King Frederik IX and Queen Ingrid, the parents of Queen Margrethe II. The family has plans to move in just in time for the Christmas Holiday's.
