The Crown Prince Family is on the front Cover of German's Vogue this month.The Crown Prince Family has moved into their newly renovated home,  Frederik VIII palace in the Amalienborg complex, Copenhagen. Crown Princess Mary is due any day now with twins will most likely skip the annual New Years celebrations. Above are some of my favorite photos from the photo shoot.

(above )In Most resent news on December 11th the Crown Prince Family attended a Ballet "The Tivoli Dream" in Cophenhagen. Along with the Queen, don't know if Prince Henrik was there. The Queen designed the costumes and set for this play. Video

The Crown Prince and Princess under took a two day visit to Northern Germany. On Sept. 27 and 28th! The Crown Prince Couple enjoyed a tour of Castle Schwerin. Fred and Mary Officallly get new home!!

On the Twenty First of September in a Welcoming home ceremony for the Crown Prince Family. The Crown Prince & Crown Princess officially received the keys to their new home from the Finance Minster Claus Hjort Frederiksen . The palace of Frederik VIII is to be their new home, which is part of the Amalienborg complex in Copenhagen. The Crown Prince Couple's standard was flown above the building symbolizing that the Crown Prince Family was in Residents.The last people to call Frederik VII  Palace home where the Crown Princes Grandparents King Frederik IX and Queen Ingrid, the parents of Queen Margrethe II. The family has plans to move in just in time for the Christmas Holiday's.

Refugee Project

Crown Princess Mary went to Viborg as part of her duties as Patron of the Danish Refugee Council.  D.R.C is independent humanitarian organization whose aim is to protect refugees in the world and Denmark through relief work, documentation, counseling, integration. Crown Princess Mary had lunch with a Rwandan Refugee Family that fled Rwanda. She also attended a auction to raise money for the Council.

At Home!

On August 31st, as a parton of the Brain Injury Association the Crown Princess attended a conference to mark its 25th anniversary at Copenhagen University.

Also that same day the Crown Prince and Princess along with other members of the Danish Royal Family attended a Concert to mark Queen Ingrids (Crown Prince's Grandmother)birthday 100 years ago in March. Although she was born in March it was celebrated on the 31st of August at the Tivoli Gardens, Copenhagen.  Below are pictures of the Crown Prince and Princess at the event.

Greece and Singapore!!

Today the Crown Princess helped represent the Danish Royal Family at the wedding of Prince Nikolaos, the second son of former King Constantine of Greece,and Tatania Blatnik. A 29-year-old event planner for fashion designer Diane von Fürstenberg. The wedding took place in Greece! ..........

also today the Crown Prince was on hand to congratulate the Danish Ladies Handball team which took first place at Singapore's Youth Olympic Games!

Down Under!!

Crown Princess Mary has been down under this past week. Visiting Friends and Family in Hobart ,Tasmania.
Evidently in an rear break in her schedule the Crown Princess found that she had a week of no engagements and decided to visit her old home town, which she hasn't seen in two years. She also attended  her good friend Amber Petty's 40th birthday bash (Amber was a Bridesmaid a Mary's 2004 wedding)! The Crown Prince is at home watching the kids and manning the shop while his mother the Queen is out of the Country on vacation. When the Queen is out of country usually (I believe) either the Crown Prince or his younger Brother are regent.

The Crown Princess is scheduled to attend a wedding later on this coming week. The Crown Prince is to go the Singapore for a sporting event as part of his duties as a Member of the IOC. Below are articles.

Danish Navy Anniversary

On August 10th the Danish Navy celebrated five hundred years in operation! Of course the Danish Royals were on hand to help celebrate.The Crown Prince Family as will as the Queen and Prince Henrik were on hand.It was the first outing since the announcement that the Crown Prince and Princess are expecting two new addition to their family sometime in January.

According to history buffs it would be the first time in over three hundred years that twins would be in direct succession to  the thrown. The twins once born would be 3rd and 4th in line to the  Danish thrown. Behind their Father, Brother and Sister. Congrates to the Crown Prince Family!!

Crown Prince Couple have been spending  some time at Grasten Castle the Queen's vacation home where the royal family (I believe ) spends part of the summer.It seems they have been having a relaxing time with their Kids Christian (4) and Isabella (3) and other members of the Royal Family.  
The Crown Prince and Princess ( A.KA Fred and Mary ) ended up doing parent duty taking Christan and Isabella to Legoland which I imagine was a hit!

Royal Wedding!

Hello All....
The Crown Prince Couple are in Sweden Attending the Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden wedding to Daniel Westling! The Wedding will take place on the 19th of June in Stockholm. June 19th just happens to be the King and Queen of Sweden ( Victoria's parents ) Wedding Anniversary. It is said that the Crown Prince and Crown Princess Victoria are good Friends like Brother and Sister. Victoria is also God Mother to Prince Christian I believe, the eldest of the Crown Prince Couples two Children.  On the 18th the Crown Prince Couple attended a Gala Performance in honor of the Bride and Groom the night before the Wedding! Below is a picture of the Crown Prince Couple at the event.  

Crown Prince Couple visit Washington DC!

The Crown Prince Couple visited Washington last week! They visited John Eaton Elementary School (above) which has been working with the Danish Embassy in a cross training program the aim  of which is to give students knowledge of different county's. The Crown Princess gave a speech at the school. While in town they visited the Arlington Nation cemetery (below)

They also got a chance to visit Walter Reed Medical Center and to chant with Solders who where recovering form combat wounds and there Families.

Queen's Birthday!

Last month on the 16Th of April the Queen celebrated her 70th birthday.There was a week long celebration.Despite the fact the Iceland volcano interrupted travel all over Europe was brought to a halt.

In Hungary

On March 19, 2010.The Crown Prince and Princess visited Hungary to attended the opening of "Power Games" exhibition at the Ludwig Museum in Budapest. They of course meet with the President of Hungary Laszlo Solyom. All Three went to see a ballet at the National Opera House in Budapest. Where they were greeted  by two of the dancers above.

Crown Prince and Princess Get new home.

The Crown Prince Couple will be moving into a Frederik VIII Palace in the Amalienborg royal complex in Copenhagen. Where the Queen and Prince Henrik live also. The place was built in 1760, 250 years ago. Many artiest worked on the renovation.That have taken five years to complete. The Place will be was opened to visitors in February and will remain open to the public through May 30th. After which the couple along with there children Christian, 4, and Isabella, 2, will move in.

Lots of updates!!

Lots of updates for you today. on January 18th the Crown Prince visited the Dubai to attend the "World Future Energy Summit 2010".

The the twenty seventh of January the Crown Prince and Princess, along with other members of the Royal Family attended a Gala Dinner at Christiansborg Palace. Members of the Parliament attended as well. I guess  during the event, one of the guards at the palace fell on his face and had to be dragged away! He fainted. I feel really sorry for him!!

On January thirtieth the Crown Prince couple took part in a telethon for Haiti relief (see photos below).

King Frederik and Queen Mary?

Well it has been rumored that the Queen of Denmark might step down and make way for Fred and Mary!! There was an article about it through an online Austrailian publication the"heraldsun.com.au".  The article said, the Queen plans to step down after her 70th birthday on April 16th. Now it seems this is just a rumor, because nothing has been confirmed yet and tell it is,....... it is just a rumor. Link to article below.

New Year Celebration

The Crown Prince and Princess attended several annual New Year's celebrations. The first was on the 4Th of Jan. Every Year members of highest order in Denmark. the order of the Elephant gather together. Members of the royal family attended. Including the Queen. Crown Princess Mary wore a Orange Evening Gown. Which looked great with Ruby and diamond tiara. The royal couple also attended a reception for Diplomats on Jan. 5TH. in Copenhagen.
